Stained Glass Privacy Window - Douglas Family Crest
The Douglas family crest was the center piece of this design. The crest was hand painted and fired onto clear glass using Color Line glass enamels. To keep the crisp lines, each color was painted and fired separately. The border was created using traditional stained glass techniques and lead came for an old world look. The panel was installed in front of an existing window to provide privacy. Approximate dimensions: 34" x 10"

For Restoration Question5.0It is with heartfelt appreciation that I welcome the chance to voice my support for Glass artist Michelle Caron. There is no question about Michelle’s talent. She is a remarkable artist as I first discovered when I found her work online.I reached out to her for help with the repair and restoration of a family heirloom. My father-n-law had passed away at the age of 99, and when we were clearing out his home, we discovered a stained-glass piece he had created. It had a couple of obvious breaks and was generally unstable. The truth is I didn’t know what I was looking at. As it turned out, there were many more repairs needed.
From the beginning Michelle made me feel comfortable and welcome. She was up front with her prices and open and honest in her appraisal. I was especially impressed with her ongoing project updates.
