Our "Painted Bayside" Mantel 8" Deep x 11" Tall x 66" Wide (Custom Sizes Available Upon Request) It's made with solid hardwood lumber and finished in a bright white lacquer which is water resistant and very durable. Every mantel that we build is individually cut, sized, and assembled by hand. Your new mantel will arrive ready to hang and includes everything needed to set in place in 15 minutes or less. My grandfather began designing and building fireplace mantels and cabinetry around 1901. When I started school around 1962 (5 years old) I loved to go to "the shop" and help. Even though my contribution was more getting in the way than anything else, my father helped me feel like I was contributing to production by paying me $1 an hour. In 1962 that was a handsome wage even for a grown man and here I was getting paid to hang out with sawdust all over the floor (and myself)…talk about a young boys dream come true!
Since then we've developed a unique line of fireplace mantels and shelves unlike anything else I've seen. We take great pride in the design and quality of each piece we build.

We have a two sided brick fireplace and he was able to custom make two beautiful wood (painted black) mantels. The only negatives was this project was delayed and communication was difficult due to COVID pandemic. But in the end we were very happy with the results. Thank you John!
