Cyclorama Wall (Cyc Or Infinity Cyc)
This is a 24'x24' Cyc Wall with a 13' height that we built for a photographer's studio in Costa Mesa, CA. We CNC milled all of the corner pieces as a kit and then assembled it on site. The detailed framing was skinned with two layers of 1/4" drywall and then mudded/taped/finished just as a flat wall would be. Cyc's are used for still photgraphy & filming to eliminate any background shadows. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclorama_(theater) We can custom build any style, and any size you want: Cyc single wall, 2 wall/corner, 3 wall, & ceiling Cyc's of any combination. We can even ship you a kit with complete plans if you have local carpenters that are highly skilled. Building a Cyc is more like building a boat than like residential construction. I guess it's a good thing that I've built boats and come from a ship building family in Chelsea Massachusetts.
