Rustic Modern Concrete, Wood, & Steel Vanity
A timeless medley of concrete, wood, and steel, this vanity combines modern style with the warm and inviting qualities of weathered materials. The sink is made from an engineered concrete that is etched, honed, and processed by hand and then sealed to protect against staining. The drawer-front, side panels, and shelf are made from reclaimed, rough-sawn barn wood beautifully weathered from decades of exposure. The wood was carefully selected for its character and finished with a satin lacquer. The frame is constructed of welded steel tubing that is patinated to a burgundy-rust color and sealed with a hand-applied lacquer. This vanity is 30" W x 21" D x 36"H, but custom sizes and configurations are available.

Formed Stone Design is an artisan concrete studio dedicated to handcrafting the finest concrete furnishings available. Everything we make is 100% custom, including sinks, countertops, fire features, furniture, and anything else that can be imagined.
Focusing on design, artistry, and form, we see ourselves as artists and not merely fabricators. We love designing and building unique sinks that will elicit far more gazing than hand-washing and countertops with function and character, thinking in three dimensions rather than two.
We produce 3-D computer models of nearly everything we make, so the client can engage in an iterative design process with us. If something isn't just right, we can easily change the design before a tool is lifted. This really helps to ensure that the job goes smoothly.
