One Of A Kind "Barn Quilt" 4 X 4
The barn quilt was a design straight from the customer so it really is one of a kind. Through out the project the customer was kept up to date with pictures and at one point we decided on some changes including changing the color of the leaves so they'd "pop". This barn quilt was painted on 4' x 4' MDO plywood that's made for outdoor signs that was sealed with a good quality primer. Paints used are factory tinted so they will resist fading a lot better. On the back of the quilt is my take on a "french cleat" for hanging. Also on the back is a list of the paint type and colors used in case someone gets brave enough to do a touch up years down the road.

Building Art One Board At A Time…
In a converted old barn, I built the custom woodworking shop I always wanted. I've been building smaller projects to keep busy inbetween the larger projects, along with working in a custom cabinet shop part time.
On a more personal note:
I'm married to my forever friend, we have 7 kids, 3 boys, 4 girls with the youngest being twins. It is a great blessing to have my shop right next to my house so I can help out with all the kids, but Mom keeps things in pretty good order.
