One Of A Kind "Barn Quilt" 4 X 4
The barn quilt was a design straight from the customer so it really is one of a kind. Through out the project the customer was kept up to date with pictures and at one point we decided on some changes including changing the color of the leaves so they'd "pop". This barn quilt was painted on 4' x 4' MDO plywood that's made for outdoor signs that was sealed with a good quality primer. Paints used are factory tinted so they will resist fading a lot better. On the back of the quilt is my take on a "french cleat" for hanging. Also on the back is a list of the paint type and colors used in case someone gets brave enough to do a touch up years down the road.

Building Art One Board At A Time…
In a converted old barn, I built the custom woodworking shop I always wanted. I've been building smaller projects to keep busy inbetween the larger projects, along with working in a custom cabinet shop part time.
On a more personal note:
I'm married to my forever friend, we have 7 kids, 3 boys, 4 girls with the youngest being twins. It is a great blessing to have my shop right next to my house so I can help out with all the kids, but Mom keeps things in pretty good order.

For Shelf5.0I have been looking for someone to build a shelf that looked exactly like my mom's neighbor's shelf - a shelf that my mom has been eyeing for years! Due to my initial reservations about ordering something like this online, I considered custom made as being a last resort until I met Jeff. Jeff was immediately very open with discussing the details of how the 'online' process worked as well as all the details of the shelf's dimensions before any proposal was ever accepted. He was also very open about price upfront and making sure we were both on the same page at all times - both before and during the build process. For Rainbow's End Sign4.3Jeff was terrific to work with, very professional, and drew out designs for me until I was satisfied with it; I have no qualms there. I think something got a little mixed up in communication because the photos I've seen of the finished product (which hasn't arrived here yet, so I can't be sure if this is a real issue or just a photography glitch) have somewhat different colors than what I thought I was asking for. It is not a big deal, and it looks like a nice, well-made sign; just noting it. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience and I'm looking forward to receiving my sign.

For Award Plaques (walnut)5.0Hello, I hired Mr. Knopf last year to make the awards and he did such a great job, I contacted him again to do this years awards. Seems like I called him 3 times adding more plaques. I told him I would get him the name plates a week before the banquett, I got them to him about 4 hours before.
