Hi There! I’m an artist. I create works that commemorate important life events as well as add joy to every day life. I'm here to create the art you want.

I am a multimedia artist based in Northern New York with over 10 years working with clay and much longer with paint. My work can involve anything from a tea pot shaped like your cat to a large painting, or jewelry.

I love working one on one with people to bring their ideas into reality. If you have an idea for something that you just can’t seem to find it anywhere, I want to hear from you.

My work is a fusion of art and craft that blurs the boundary between these traditions.

I attended Alfred University from 2002 to 2006, earning a BFA. I have attended Medalta International Artists Residency, The Penland School of Crafts, Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, and the Women's Studio Workshop for residencies and workshops in ceramics. I also attended the Vermont Studio Center for a four-week residency in painting. My work has won numerous awards, been shown in various local galleries as well as venues in Canada, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York City.

    I asked Sara to make me his and hers coffee mugs shaped like cats to give to my now-husband as a wedding gift. The boy cat is wearing a bow tie and the girl cat has pearls--so cute! She did an amazing job and my husband and I both love the mugs. She kept me updated on her progress and incorporated all my feedback. I definitely recommend working with her on a project!!

    This was a last-minute idea for my wife for Christmas. Sara created it for me to my specifications under an extremely tight deadline and shipped it to me to arrive just in time for Christmas (huge thanks for that). The plate is fantastically made, sturdy and with a great texture and finish. My only (very minor) issue is that the hand-painted names and date look a bit amateur, they don't match the professional look of the rest of the design on the plate, like they were drawn on with a sharpie.

    But, I am very happy with the total result and, more importantly, my wife loves the plate. I will definitely consider Sara again when I want another decorative dish.
