Hi There! I’m an artist. I create works that commemorate important life events as well as add joy to every day life. I'm here to create the art you want.
I am a multimedia artist based in Northern New York with over 10 years working with clay and much longer with paint. My work can involve anything from a tea pot shaped like your cat to a large painting, or jewelry.
I love working one on one with people to bring their ideas into reality. If you have an idea for something that you just can’t seem to find it anywhere, I want to hear from you.
My work is a fusion of art and craft that blurs the boundary between these traditions.
I attended Alfred University from 2002 to 2006, earning a BFA. I have attended Medalta International Artists Residency, The Penland School of Crafts, Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, and the Women's Studio Workshop for residencies and workshops in ceramics. I also attended the Vermont Studio Center for a four-week residency in painting. My work has won numerous awards, been shown in various local galleries as well as venues in Canada, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York City.
Dan Lozier
For Dan's 2 Scuptures, daft punkified hot dog and pie sliceSara was an absolute pleasure to work with for my project. Very responsive, professional, and a very talented artist, the scuptures turned out absolutely amazing. I wouldn't hesitate going to her again on a future project.
Mimi
For Basket EarringI had worked with Sara E. Lynch with an idea I had. Sara made sure I get what I requested. Sara was amazing person to work with, she was making sure she send the picture of the product before she send the good. And I got what I requested. I would defendant work with Sara E. hLynch. Sara gave my dream idea to life.
Brandon Moustafa
For Brandon's SculptureThe project itself was almost exactly what I expected it to look like. The detail was great and coloring was fantastic. Sarah was great at communicating and showing interest.
My one complaint was the timing. I requested to be in possession of the project before Christmas - I didn't receive it until after the following weekend.
Wendell Crouse
For Wendell's VaseI't was a fun first time experience that I'm excited to repeat if when necessary.
Sandy Zimmermann
For Espresso cup ProjectI wanted to make a special gift for my mentor at the end of a summer internship, but was in a crunch for time. Sara took on my project, time restraint included, and delivered a beautiful piece that would be ready by the time I needed it. I ended up having my end date extended and let Sara know so she wouldn't have to rush shipping. She decided to not let that time go to waste and took it upon herself to add some finishing touches and another layer of glaze to the cup to make the colors really pop!
I could not be more satisfied with the piece and neither could it's recipient. He loved it! I will definitely keep Sara in mind if I need another custom project done. She is professional, timely, and flexible, but those are all bonuses to her TALENT!
I highly recommend her work.
