Mug That Looks Like Your Pet

$200

Do you love your pet? Do you love drinking coffee or tea? Now you can combine two awesome things into a mug shaped like your favorite furry friend. The way this works is you send me three or more pictures of your dog or animal of choice and then I'll make you an apx 4.5in or 11cm tall food safe cup shaped look alike. I use my potters wheel to make the initial shape and then alter it into a general form like your furry friend. Once it's a bit dry I start carving it to create the desired details. Then I use underglazes to color the fur and sometimes overglazes just to touch things up once the glaze firing is complete.

Hi There! I’m an artist. I create works that commemorate important life events as well as add joy to every day life. I'm here to create the art you want.

I am a multimedia artist based in Northern New York with over 10 years working with clay and much longer with paint. My work can involve anything from a tea pot shaped like your cat to a large painting, or jewelry.

I love working one on one with people to bring their ideas into reality. If you have an idea for something that you just can’t seem to find it anywhere, I want to hear from you.

My work is a fusion of art and craft that blurs the boundary between these traditions.

I attended Alfred University from 2002 to 2006, earning a BFA. I have attended Medalta International Artists Residency, The Penland School of Crafts, Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, and the Women's Studio Workshop for residencies and workshops in ceramics. I also attended the Vermont Studio Center for a four-week residency in painting. My work has won numerous awards, been shown in various local galleries as well as venues in Canada, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York City.
