Hi There! I’m an artist. I create works that commemorate important life events as well as add joy to every day life. I'm here to create the art you want.

I am a multimedia artist based in Northern New York with over 10 years working with clay and much longer with paint. My work can involve anything from a tea pot shaped like your cat to a large painting, or jewelry.

I love working one on one with people to bring their ideas into reality. If you have an idea for something that you just can’t seem to find it anywhere, I want to hear from you.

My work is a fusion of art and craft that blurs the boundary between these traditions.

I attended Alfred University from 2002 to 2006, earning a BFA. I have attended Medalta International Artists Residency, The Penland School of Crafts, Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, and the Women's Studio Workshop for residencies and workshops in ceramics. I also attended the Vermont Studio Center for a four-week residency in painting. My work has won numerous awards, been shown in various local galleries as well as venues in Canada, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York City.

    Sara is awesome. This is the second project I've done with her -- both items of serious importance, images of gods worshipped by members of my family. She has an uncanny talent for extracting telepathically the exact image you were thinking of (or, if you didn't have an image in your head, inventing one which turns out to be the exact image you should have been thinking of) and rendering it in clay. She's also professional enough, and humble enough, to listen to concerns, make corrections to order, and solicit your opinion about what the statue needs to be absolutely perfect. As a result, it usually is. Thanks, Sara! You can make my household's gods anytime. :D
