Hi There! I’m an artist. I create works that commemorate important life events as well as add joy to every day life. I'm here to create the art you want.
I am a multimedia artist based in Northern New York with over 10 years working with clay and much longer with paint. My work can involve anything from a tea pot shaped like your cat to a large painting, or jewelry.
I love working one on one with people to bring their ideas into reality. If you have an idea for something that you just can’t seem to find it anywhere, I want to hear from you.
My work is a fusion of art and craft that blurs the boundary between these traditions.
I attended Alfred University from 2002 to 2006, earning a BFA. I have attended Medalta International Artists Residency, The Penland School of Crafts, Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, and the Women's Studio Workshop for residencies and workshops in ceramics. I also attended the Vermont Studio Center for a four-week residency in painting. My work has won numerous awards, been shown in various local galleries as well as venues in Canada, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York City.

Mar 24, 2020Sara was fabulous to work with. Once the product started, she sent messages often with updates and progress. I even had a chance to add a few things as we went along. The only critique I have is that the engraving is a little hard to read after the glaze. All in all I’m very pleased with my final products and so were my friends who received them as gifts. I saw a whale mug she had made for someone else and desperately wanted one of my own. She listened to what I was looking for in custom mugs and gave me 7 intricately detailed whales! As a Marine Biologist, the details were super important to me- so THANK YOU SO MUCH SARA! I would definitely recommend her for any and all projects!
