Cranknstein Steel / Reclaimed Wood - Bike Shop Gates

Cranknstein is a downtown Fort Collins coffee shop and bike shop by day, craft beer bar by night. They needed a way to close off the bike shop at night when the place is crawling with beer lovers, enter the YendraBuilt "Zombie Cage". We were commissioned to design and build the folding gate, 90% of the material was reclaimed. A variety of materials were used which put our full service metal fab and woodwoorking shop to the test. - Fencing once used to keep Elk out made up the main portion of the gates - A Chevy V8 to act as a cable actuated counterweight to bring the gates up and down with ease - Reclaimed Barn Doors to access the shop when the gates were closed - Rusty Bucket-O-Chain for some artistic touches
