Redwood Slab Tables (Set Of 2)
We hand-built this table in fort collins, colorado for a customer. X and I I footprints measure 12" x 20 1/2", and both tables stand 26 3/4" tall. The wood is old-growth Red Wood from Northern California, cut down and discarded over one hundred years ago. The tree was likely forested by Russian lumberjacks in the second half of the nineteenth century. Each table is constructed using traditional joint techniques: dowel pins fasten the reclaimed steel legs to the wooden slab. The strong, worry-free finish is an oil and acrylic mix which showcases + enhances the beautiful tones of the wood. The tables have a rustic yet modern style and could be used for end tables or decor.
