Root Down Table
The Root Down started life as a dream for an organic inspired table base, something that would complement the beauty of a large slab of wood like nothing else could, to blur the lines between organic and manmade. We created a slab dining table unlike any other out there, a table where the top and base are in perfect balance. The top on the pictured table is an 8ft x 5ft slab of Walnut, urban harvested from Portland. The base is 100% Stainless steel, TIG welded together to form a base that will last lifetimes. This truly is a piece you can pass down from generation to generation. Perfect for a large dining room, the colors in the wood and the polished stainless base will look great with any backdrop.
