Small accent tiles. I used sprig molds to keep the cute little critters the same, and the glaze color possibilities are endless.
Odyssey Arts
Maker Marketplace is a perfect outlet for me. I make customized pottery items from my small home studio in West Bend, Wisconsin.
I don't have much extra space, so I like to concentrate on making projects that are exactly what you want. I enjoy very unique commissions.
Odyssey Arts takes commissioned orders for custom pottery items, and portraits.
I also do business as Odyssey Urns, specifically making custom urns for People and Pets. I would love to help you Create a Unique Legacy!
The urns you see here are examples to show the quality and type of work I do. My examples are meant to give you inspiration and ideas about who you are and how you want to be remembered: your interests, your accomplishments, your hobby or business, etc.
I also make conte (a hard pressed charcoal in earth tone colors) drawing portraits.
I gave the maker Odyssey Arts all As. She was really fun to work with. She took the time to understand the ins and outs of what I wanted which was unusual and not so easy for many I would think. And I could really tell that she enjoyed the process. Her passion for her work and care for the customer is reflected in a beautiful one of the kind piece of art. I would really recomend her particularly if the project is something that you wouldn't entrust to just anyone and where a lot of communication is necessary. In addition I found her charming and personable which made working with her really easy.
The custom made urn that Rosemarie made for me completely surpassed anything that I had hoped for, it is absolutely fantastic. From our very first conversation Rose listened and asked all the right questions. I told her that I wanted a peach shaped urn with a lizard on the top. During the conversation Rose picked up on the fact that the lizard I had requested was actually a Carolina Anole because I told her where I live in South Carolina we had anoles which looked like little lizards. Rose took it upon herself to look up pictures on the internet so she could make an urn with an authentic looking Carolina Anole. She even asked me if I wanted a male or female! The underside of the throat is a different color for males and females. Rose delivered the completed urn within the time frame promised. If you are looking for someone that can turn your vision into reality then look no further than Rosemarie, you will receive something very special for a reasonable price.
I couldn't be any happier with the finished product. Rose was willing to work with me being overseas with the military, and she was also aware of my time restraints and got it done very fast! My custom made wedding cake topper was worth every penny. We love it!
Working with Rose was a great experience. She was very thoughtful, and checked in with questions throughout the process. She checked in on color choices and design to make sure I was happy. Rose set clear expectations on the timing of the project based on how long it would take to dry properly, etc., and kept to her timeline. I am very happy with my final project and would happily recommend this artist to anyone looking for a custom ceramic piece.
Awesome. She did a great job!!!!
