Replica Geebee R-1
This is a full-scale model of a famous GeeBee R-1 pylon racer, built for the City of Springfield, MA from the original factory plans. Originally hung in the glass atrium of the Visitor's Center, it was highly visible from Route I-91. It now amazes visitors to the Museum of Springfield History, where it hangs next to an original GeeBee Zeta. - plywood, pine, foam and fabric.
