Kevin Barlow and KV weld art is the result of Kevin's passion for things unique, unusual and interesting. Kevin excels in antique automotive restoration and customization, the design of ornamental railings for multi million dollar homes in the finger lakes region of NY, spiral stair cases, garden accessories, custom made furniture, building machine industrial components, scientific research and development.

Kevin started his welding fabrication career in the Shenandoah Valley of VA in a custom VW restoration customization shop with the desire to become a better hobbyist. From concept and design to engineering and building Barlow is one of the most talented automotive restoration experts in the harsh winter environments of the New England area. Building frames and complete uni-body repair including convertibles.

After having realized the early aspirations, realization there was much more to welding than replacing the rusty panels in old fords, rockers in 60's and 70's Chevy's, and independent suspensions in low down and mean rat rods and street rods.

In the pursuit to continuously learn and advance in the welding field, Kevin selected to work around people who had the skills and abilities necessary to become successful. Moving from the antique car craze Barlow embarked on a career in ornamental iron work. Having the opportunity to learn from some of the best craftsmen in fingerlakes region of NY where he was born and raised.

With more than 15 years in the industry from everything from the smallest repair to 15 story structural steel. KV weld art is the result of many years Mig, Tig, stick and soldering in a variety of miscellaneous metals fabrication shops in VA, NY, NH, and MA.
