Wood Sculpture Queen Headboard or Wall Art Made to order: Rich with contrast and depth, this piece would make a stunning headboard or artwork for your home. Maple, alder, poplar and cedar wood was cut at random depths, widths and lengths to create amazing dimension in this piece. Each piece of wood was individually sanded then stained in dark walnut or hand rubbed with natural Danish oil prior to being placed into the design. I left some pieces completely naked (no oil or stain) to maintain the natural color. Two 36x32 inch panels are hung side by side to create the appearance of one very large piece. This size is designed for the purpose of a queen headboard. It would hang directly on the wall and could be paired with any bed platform or frame. The frame is built under the artwork and is level with the backing, allowing the artwork to extend all the way to the edge. This creates a very modern look and gives the artwork a nice "lift" from the wall. I can adjust the size for any bed or wall space…just convo me for pricing. I am a runner, swimmer - I have completed a half ironman and I have studied martial arts, specifically Kung-Fu and Tae-Kwon-Do. I have received rescue training and I know how to do mouth to mouth :)
