For A range hood made of stainless steel and brass4.8Justin at LightFast delivered an awesome custom made range hood. We are really happy with it and it is right on spec. Throughout the process, Justin worked closely with us on the design itself, measurements, trim placement, etc. and delivered multiple 3-D models that we worked from. His attention to detail allowed us to really 'see' the final product and address things that we really hadn't considered or thought of. He is responsive, a pleasure to work with and competitively priced. Going into this process, as an engineer with deep attention to detail, I didn't know who LightFast or Justin was and admittedly wasn't sure what the outcome would be. I can now say that the process and the final result were well worth it. I would strongly recommend LightFast and Justin even for items you can buy in a store - there's something special about having an item made and that shows through in Justin's work.

For Cathy's Range Hood1.2We are happy with the final product but getting it to the end was not the best. What should have been a 6 week project turned into 4 months. Communication with the fabricator was not good. Seemed like the only time we got responses was when money was needed or we had to threaten to escalate to a higher power. Shipping of the final product was a fiasco. We were charged $400 for shipping of our range hood. The fabricator used some company like UBER but for freight. We were to receive the product on a Saturday around 4:00 p.m. but did not get until Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
I would not work with this fabricator again and would not recommend him to anyone.

For 48" range hood in non directional stainless4.7I contacted Justin to help design and create a custom 48" range hood. Justin, was able to take my conceptual design and create working drawings which helped finalize the design. He offered suggestions on metals and finishes which added different elements and nuances to the design.
The end product was a perfect addition to our custom kitchen and has become a clear focal point without being out of place. The technical and manufacturing process of the hood was complex and Justin made it look easy.
Overall, I would highly recommend Justin not only for his technical skill but his ability to envision a conceptual design and turn it into a beautiful centerpiece.
