Edwardian Vintage Style Hat In Black Lace With Sequins And Beads
Nice Edwardian style hat for a evening or special event. The hat is made in a black dupioni silk. I have covered the entire crown with a gathered floral patterned lace. I used this same lace to make a large rose accented with beads and sequins. To accent the rose I have placed floral appliques on each side of the rose. I used a lack satin for the pleated hat band. The hat is lined in quality black bridal satin. Made in quality fabrics. This hat is made starting with satin and then covered in a alencon lace The hat is detailed with satin, lace embellished with sequins and beads. Lined in a heavy satin. Many colors and textures are available This hat is ready to ship fitting a head size of 21 3/4" to 22". If you need help in measuring your head contact me for photo instructions. I have always been a maker of things. My first memory of making things was when I was a little girl. I would cut up old sheets while sitting on the living room floor and try to figure out how all the pieces could be fit together to make something. My fascination with fabric has never been far from my mind. I have always had needle and fabric in my hands. I started designing my own cloths in Jr high and never stopped, some 40 years ago.
