A 1920's Great Gatsby party, wedding hat in a winter white plush velvet fabric. The hat is made in a vintage cloche style with satin binding on the brim and pleated around the crown. The hat is detailed with sequins, glass beads and pearl encrusted floral motif applique. The applique is made with touches of silver threads and gold beads. A stunning hat made for an evening or gala event. Sure to catch attention at a wedding, Christmas get together or New Years Eve extravaganza. Hat lined in a heavy white bridal satin. I have always been a maker of things. My first memory of making things was when I was a little girl. I would cut up old sheets while sitting on the living room floor and try to figure out how all the pieces could be fit together to make something. My fascination with fabric has never been far from my mind. I have always had needle and fabric in my hands. I started designing my own cloths in Jr high and never stopped, some 40 years ago.
