Edwardian Vintage Style Wedding Hat In Taupe Mauve Lace With Handmade Flowers
Edwardian style hat for a evening, wedding or special event. The hat is made in a dark chocolate brown satin with a lace overlay in a dark taupe. The lace has a abstract floral pattern which is mirrored in the Alicon beaded lace trim hat band. The hat is accented with several handmade charmuse satin flowers in shades of medium to pale mauve, pink. The hat is lined in quality brown bridal satin. Lovely for a high tea, luncheon, or a hat for the mother of the bride. I will need an accurate head measurement. This is a MADE TO ORDER hat "IMPORTANT" How to measure for your hat size. Take a cloth measuring tape around the back of your head and just above your ears. Have the tape meet on your forehead where you want the hat to sit. Do this several times as an accurate measurement is important. I personally create each hat one at a time, they are not mass produced and are made in a very limited quantity of each style. My hats are 100% handmade using traditional tailoring and millinery techniques, sewn from the finest quality fabrics. The linings are hand sewn with great care and time, with attention to detail on the trimmings.

I have always been a maker of things. My first memory of making things was when I was a little girl. I would cut up old sheets while sitting on the living room floor and try to figure out how all the pieces could be fit together to make something. My fascination with fabric has never been far from my mind. I have always had needle and fabric in my hands. I started designing my own cloths in Jr high and never stopped, some 40 years ago.
