20'S Vintage Cloche Hat Garden Tea Party In Ivory Taupe Lace And Flowers
A garden/tea party sinamay cloche hat for a summer wedding or any special or gala event. The hat is done in a tones of ivory and taupe. The hat is accented with a tulle encircled crown accented with a floral motif lace and pearls. Highlights of lace appliques and handmade flowers are the main focus of this beautiful and feminine cloche hat. The hat is entirely hand crafted from using a vintage wooden hat block to form the crown, down to the hand formed brim. The accent flowers were made using a antique heirloom ribbon technique. I have always been a maker of things. My first memory of making things was when I was a little girl. I would cut up old sheets while sitting on the living room floor and try to figure out how all the pieces could be fit together to make something. My fascination with fabric has never been far from my mind. I have always had needle and fabric in my hands. I started designing my own cloths in Jr high and never stopped, some 40 years ago. I have always had a love for hats. When I discovered the internet I knew I could now make and sell my hats. I am so excited to have found a place to share and grow my love of hats.
I offer custom made and ready to wear hats. Hat designs from the 1900's Victorian era past the Roaring 20's flapper days and beyond the World War II Bombshell hats. A hat shop dedicated to the fashions of the past with a connection to the styles of today.
