A garden/tea party sinamay cloche hat for a summer wedding or any special or gala event. The hat is done in a tones of ivory and taupe. The hat is accented with a tulle encircled crown accented with a floral motif lace and pearls. Highlights of lace appliques and handmade flowers are the main focus of this beautiful and feminine cloche hat. The hat is entirely hand crafted from using a vintage wooden hat block to form the crown, down to the hand formed brim. The accent flowers were made using a antique heirloom ribbon technique. I have always been a maker of things. My first memory of making things was when I was a little girl. I would cut up old sheets while sitting on the living room floor and try to figure out how all the pieces could be fit together to make something. My fascination with fabric has never been far from my mind. I have always had needle and fabric in my hands. I started designing my own cloths in Jr high and never stopped, some 40 years ago.
