Pisces
The astrological name of this framed metal wall art is "Pisces". It is made of thin steel. The outside dimensions of the frame that it is in are 11 3/4" x 13 3/4". There is a protective coating of wax on the art. The meaning behind Pisces is to go with the flow. If you look closely at the front of the fish you will notice what may appear as the movement of the water as the fish is swimming through it.

I’ve been designing and making jewelry and metal objects since I was sixteen.
I started my studies in jewelry/metal in 1976 at Penland School of Crafts in Penland, North Carolina
That same year I was also in the fine arts program at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, .
I was born and raised in Detroit, so I feel it is in my nature to build things out of metal,
just like my father, who was a metal model maker at General Motors.
I work with a variety of metals, but the metals I use the most,are copper, brass and pewter.
The name MetalicImages, refers to the design images I see in the metal at the beginning of the creative process.
My industrial Detroit influences can be seen in my work,but with a contemporary flair.
