The Well Dressed Window
I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. I made my first outfit on the sewing machine when I was eleven. In college, I had the opportunity to work in the costume shop for the drama department, creating period clothing from illustrations. In my custom home decor business, I combine my passion for textiles with the detail and precision of clothing design. My goal is to create soft furnishings that reflect the personality and lifestyle of my client.
It was simply a pleasure to work with Cynthia. She is talented and professional. She was answering all my questions on a timely manner and I was very pleased with my curtains in the end! I would recommend her to all of you for your curtain projects!
The pillow covers were exactly what I wanted, and they were extremely well-made. Thank you!
When pregnant with my 2nd child, I found adorable bedding at Pottery Barn. The bedding was themed after the Eric Carle book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". I could not find curtains anywhere. I had read about this website, so I submitted a request for custom-made curtains and/or valances for the nursery. I was very impressed with the ideas and sketches submitted by The Well Dressed Window. They were creative and different. I was somewhat hesitant because of the cost, but I was really excited to have a complete nursery. Upon receiving the valance (On time!), I was thrilled with the quality. The design was just as sketched, the execution was flawless. I understand now why it was on the expensive side...the craftsmanship was impeccable. I would definitely recommend the Well Dressed WIndow.
