Bracelet / Anklet / Men's Bracelet: Turk's Head Knot From Leather Cord
This lovely bracelet, crafted from soft brown leather cord, would be perfect with a costume (Steampunk or medieval, I'm thinking) or with just everyday jeans-and-T-shirt! I braided it in a Turk's Head Knot, then finished it with a silver clasp so that you can easily slip it on and off. The closure hook is custom made from silver-toned copper wire. This one used "red brown" leather cord. I also have a "antique brown" leather (which is a nice cross between a dark red-brown and black), black, and a lighter natural brown. It's soft but nicely finished leather. I braided it in a Turk's Head Knot, then finished it with a silver hook. This one is 9 inches long total, so kind of big-- or just right for some guys. Or maybe an anklet? I can make one for you a bit bigger or smaller as you like, or with a clasp and chain adjustable closure.

I am constantly tinkering with beads, baubles, wire, and leather, and a rarely make the same thing twice. I would love to make something that is your very own, unique piece!
The jewelry and accessories I create vary from simple, colorful bead and wires, to braided leather cord, to Steampunk gears and springs. My designs are based on natural forms, Celtic knots and spirals, and mechanics and clockworks. My stuffed letters are inspired by a gift I created for my sister when her first daughter was due. From there, I started making some for most of the little ones I knew!
My background is in landscape architecture, but I am always making things, braiding cord or spiraling wire or sewing, and my many hobbies inform my craft. I dance Scottish, I am involved in medieval re-creation, I make medieval costumes, and I am an archer. I also have attended Steampunk events and made several Steampunk costumes. Many my pieces work for either medieval or Steampunk, though some of the wire stuff is more modern. Mostly, I listen to the material and let it go where it wants to, drawing inspiration from the beautiful world around me.

It was not as seem less as I thought it would be for someone that has crafting experience. For what I needed the gift for it will be okay even with the flaws.
