I have always known what I wanted to do when I grow up. I remember when I was a child, I was designing necklaces, bracelets and earrings in my free time. I looked at antique jewelry for inspiration and found myself creating designs that paired periods such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco & Edwardian with the modern needs of today.

As soon as I finished high school I set off for Carlsbad, California to attend the Gemological Institute of America. After two years and almost every class they offered, I received my Graduate Gemologist, Graduate Jeweler, and Applied Jewelery Arts degrees among others. I then was offered an amazing opportunity to study abroad in Steyr, Austria where I learned the art of Hand Engraving.

After more than seven years of working in retail jewelery the most wonderful change in my life came…my baby girl! Now I am a full time stay at home mommy and I am able to fulfill my dreams of designing jewelry!

My jewelry line is called the Fusion Collection. It blends the new with the old and is an up-cycling of sorts. All of my pieces started out as something different, whether it was a pin, a cufflink, or link from a bracelet each one is transformed into a new current necklace or bracelet by seamlessly hand weaving it with fine gemstones. Each one is unique and hand made by me, no mass production stamped out pieces here! It has been a pleasure creating the Fusion Collection, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I thank my husband for all of his support and my baby girl, whose smiles give me inspiration. Without them my creations wouldn't be here!
