The art of the lathe often drives the user to make items that are round on the outside and the inside. Here, I made a conscious choice to not let the outside edges become round, but rather keep all inside edges flowing and rounded. Made with Cherry-wood, about 7 1/2 inches square and 2 inches tall. I had intended to use this as a Bonsai dish, but offered it at a craft fair first, and sold it before using it at all.
