Wooden Walther Ppk
I designed and built this wooden Walther PPK as part of a gift to my girlfriend, Christina, who is a rabid James Bond fan. It started out as a bit of an afterthought, since the main gift was every James Bond DVD, packaged in a custom Halliburton Zero briefcase, complete with martini shaker. I had one day in the shop before presenting the gift to her, and I was planning to do a simple cutout of the Walther, spray it black, and add it as a joke. However, once I got going on it…I couldn't stop! Solid cherry body, with working walnut trigger, walnut grips, removable (working) walnut clip, and removable solid walnut silencer. Pine accents and front sight. The gift was finished by making a custom solid walnut box for the gun, which fits snugly in the secret compartment of the Halliburton case. Inquiries welcome, as always.
