Custom Kitchen Cabinetry
This was a complete kitchen remodel of a historic home in Richmond, VA's Fan District. Some of the existing cabinets were repurposed with the addition of new Shaker style doors and drawer fronts. Other cabinets, such as the pantry and island, were custom made out of birch plywood and solid poplar.

Cabinet & furniture designer/maker located in Richmond, VA. I began my woodworking career as a trim carpenter and independent contractor until an opportunity took my family to live and work in London, UK for a two year period. I was employed at a high end cabinet shop in London that creates unique and award winning work for celebrities, international business people and other clients in the UK, Europe and occasionally the US. I worked alongside and learned from my co-workers who were master craftspeople from throughout Europe. It was an amazing and enlightening experience for me. I'm back in the States now, putting my "old world" knowledge and experience to good use.
Personally, my tastes in design lean towards mid-century modern, contemporary and Asian inspired work although I am happy to facilitate any style of custom woodworking project. I strive to create pieces of the highest precision and quality for both my customers' satisfaction as well my own sense of accomplishment and pride in my work.

For Custom Dining Tables - Riddling Racks5.0Grant built custom tables for us using retired riddling racks from our favorite vineyard. He was amazing start to finish, from design ideas, to communication while the tables were in process and final delivery. He took extra time to sand down the riddling racks that are the tops of our tables to make them really beautiful once stained while preserving the logos of the vineyard that we really wanted to keep. In short, the finished tables are stunning and I could not recommend someone more! We cannot wait to gather our family around these tables for meals for many many years to come.
