Spine Stem Approx. 7-9/16" x 17-7/8" x 1-3/4" 2015 Abstract spine study. Flame painted and inked copper. Two-toned cherry frame with splined miter joinery, and frame riser. With exception to the black ink, all colors are naturally created by fire, and seem to move and pop based on lighting, viewing angle, and room placement. Clear-coated for protection. Satin sheen.

My name is Daniel Koja, based out of Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly after graduating from college where I studied/built 18th Century reproduction furniture, I jumped out on my own. Throughout the years I have built custom furniture, cabinetry, bars, commercial installation pieces, custom metal work, high-end magician's apparatus, custom turned and/or carved pieces, and many other projects. I've been creating a lot of copper artwork lately, and have incorporated it into furniture as well as stand alone wall art pieces.
