Custom Turned Stair Newel Post
These 2 Starting Stair Newels are made of solid maple. The first has a 7 1/2 inch octagonal base and the second is a massive 10 inch diameter. The base is octagonal. These are made of solid maple throughout. I can also create any profile you desire.

Mr. Pinion is certainly talented, but also an honest man who sent me a refund when I overpaid for shipping. I really appreciated working with him, he always answered my questions promptly and kept me updated on the progress with my newel posts. Now, I cannot wait for them to be installed and painted! I selected Mr. Pinion based upon a review of his profile and the constructive questions and suggestions he made after reviewing my preliminary design. Suggestions were also offered at critical stages through the construction process, which helped enhance the finished product. The result is a really gorgeous piece of furniture.
