I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. I found Bill Pinion's site and can only say the whole experience of working with Bill has been delightful from start to finish. Top notch craftsmanship, first class professionalism.

We had a great experience with ordering and receiving our stair newels and finials. Mr. Pinion was great about keeping us in the loop as the project progressed. The only thing that was disappointing was shipping cost. Would order from him again for sure.

Very happy with the custom designed newel post he made for my home in 2016. The shipping via a local UPS store was not sufficient as part of the product broke off but that was not Mr. Pinion fault and one of my carpenter's on the job fixed. I appreciated Mr. Pinion during the design process and he was right on schedule. I am a perfectionist and I can tell you his work is exceptional.

I am so happy with my mantel. It is exactly what I asked for. Bill was able to make in a timely manner. He kept me in the loop throughout the process. I would use Bill again if I have a need for a similar project.

My experience with William could not have been better! He took a drawing and a photograph of an ideal and constructed it perfectly. I don't think that anything in the entire project could have gone any smoother. Absolutely thrilled with the sliding doors he made!

The table looks very good and the color and the matches quite well with that of the adjacent lounges. The project took very little time to complete. The shipping packaging held up extremely well through the postal system. Overall we're very satisfied with the project, the woodworking, and the site as well.

He really addressed all my specifications. He did make suggestions in an effort to not change my ideas but rather to ensure the strength and durability to enable this piece to become a true family heirloom. Timing of the project could not have better. He shopped for quality shipping arrangements and had options available regarding, timing, and price for me to review. I would definitely recommend this artist to anyone who is shopping for true quality workmanship.

The chairs are absolutely beautiful. Going into the project I didn't know what kind of chairs I wanted or how I wanted them to look. He worked with me to get exactly what I envisioned without me even knowing that is what I wanted all along. So easy to work with and very happy with the chairs.

Bill was a delight to work with! And, his craftsmanship is superb.

Bill was wonderful to work with. He built a custom design bath vanity for me. It was a pleasure working with Bill. I'm absolutely in love with my bench, which will be a family heirloom for years and years. Thank you!

Working with Bill was a breeze, and I love the cherry file shelves he made for my office. They were not cheap, but the quality is outstanding. He kept me informed of his work progress with photos, which was kind of exciting and fun. I could not be more pleased with my experience with him or with my attractive shelves that will last a lifetime. I would recommend Bill to anyone.

Really enjoyed working on this project with Bill. He would post updates regularly on his website so I could watch the progress. We corresponded frequently to fine tune the design. The project was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The finished product is beautiful and I am very pleased with it. Shipping and moving is a bit of consideration when creating a product of real woods this size as they end up being very heavy, best to understand shipping charges at the initial stages of the project. Great job, thanks!

Bill made us an office armoire to hold our laptop, sewing machine, office supplies, files, etc. Living in a big city we wanted all of our office junk put in one place, out of the way, in something that looked nice. Bill was professional, excellent in workmanship, and was a great listener to what we wanted. We had seen something that we wanted in a Room and Board store- but wanted a bit higher quality given that we were only going to buy this thing once. Bill took pictures of the process and texted to us periodically. The armoire was shipped to us upon completion and arrived in great condition. It was a real pleasure working with him, and we'd use him again for another future furniture need.

I found Mr. Pinion to be personable, very eager to please, able to deliver exactly what I asked for, was on-time and on-budget. I can't really think of anything that could have improved this transaction. I have given Mr. Pinion more work, and am confident it will be handled as expertly and as pleasantly as was this table project.

William was very easy to work with. You could tell from the start that he wanted to deliver a good product and experience. The newel we got is perfect and we are looking forward to installing it in our new home. I'm a believer in custommade.com because of this experience.

If you have a custom project you are looking to have made, Mr. Pinion is the guy for the job! He did a remarkable job in ALL aspects of this build. I feel like I have the best book case that could have been built, exactly how I wanted it, for just the right price. He even threw in a few extra things because he knew it was a special project of mine. He sent pictures all along the way to keep me informed of everything. Communication was the key to the success of this build and not only did I get exactly what I wanted, I feel like I have a new friend and will definitely be back for future projects! Thank You!!!!

The entire project experience has been interesting and fun.
