This desk is made of red oak. it is a 2 piece desk with the left side consisting of a bank of 4 drawers and 2 file drawers. The right section consists of another file drawer (lower and a standard drawer above) and a door that has an adjustable shelf enclosed. All drawers are solid maple with half blind dovetails. all drawers are also beaded inset slinding on Blum undermount soft close drawer slides. this desk is quality throughout and built to be handed down for generations. The furniture base is in the Art Deco style

    Suggestions were also offered at critical stages through the construction process, which helped enhance the finished product.

    The result is a really gorgeous piece of furniture.
