This is a gorgeous handmade picture frame made from solid highly figured Cherry. The miters are precision cut and assembled with exactness in this two-layered style with a smaller Poplar frame inside the larger Cherry frame. The inside edges are carefully routed with a round-over profile. Frames rabbeted on the inside to fit the matted picture within a recessed groove. Custom cut glass secured inside. Ready to hang. Built to custom dimensions to accommodate large photograph and mat. Can be built to standard dimensions or to specific sizes as needed.
