In my opinion, office furniture is a place that custom furniture makers can really shine. I'm tech-savvy, so I understand the need for cable runs, good air flow around computers, etc. I designed this piece after doing a huge amount of research and realizing there was absolutely nothing like it on the market. The project called for a single case (armoire) to house a computer, speakers, printer, printer paper, and other accouterments. You open the piece up and have a fully functional workstation. Close it down at the end of the day and you are looking at a rustic armoire as opposed to a bunch of electronics. Computer armoire made of oak and then painted, sanded, and scraped. Door panels of antique ceiling tin.
