Modern Mission Desk #1

Working with Patrick at New Mission Workshop has been an amazing experience! Patrick is so creative and such a delight to work with. He has kept in constant communication with us which we have appreciated so very much, making suggestions, tweaking the original plan, and offering wonderful suggestions for improving the pieces he's done for us. He is a Master Woodworker. I'm already thinking up future projects for him to craft for us!!1

Communication is the best part about working with Patrick! If he had any question he immediately sent a message and was meticulous about making sure the finished product would meet my expectations. I was a little disappointed when I received my stand when I saw a very sharp protrusion on the side - to try and cover it would ruin the aesthetics of the piece. I work with young children and hope this isn't a problem. Delivery was delayed by 3 days because I wasn't asked if I would be home -- I was out of town and the shipment was in limbo. Make sure when your product is shipped that someone will be around all day to sign for the delivery.

We commissioned Patrick to build us an arts & crafts, hall end mirror. After some unforeseen set backs, Patrick sent us not just a mirror, but what we now consider to be a family heirloom. We could not be more thrilled and satisfied. We urge anyone who reads this to invite Patrick in to any discussion you may be having about custom furniture. He is a wizard!

It was extremely easy to work with Patrick on this project. He was open to the custom changes I needed (made out of cherry, and fit to hold a violin rather than a ukelele), and the final product was fantastic. It did take a bit longer than I initially hoped, but Patrick was up front with the time line and the final piece arrived at my door faster than initially estimated. The stand was well packaged and in great shape. It is a beautiful piece of work, and I am thrilled with the final result. It is my first time using the CustomMade website, and I will definitely try it out again.

Patrick really delivered on this projextra for us. He worked within a tight deadline and completely understood our concept and the finished product was beyond our expectations. The finished piece arrived with very minor imperfections…due to shipping..but was easily mendable. We are looking forward to using Patrick's wonderful talent with woodworking in future projects..he really knows his craft and spends that extra focus on a great attention to detail!! We highly recommend his services.
