Fabic And Sugar Lampshade Combined

Going over the top and combining techniques is what I love to do most. This was a bell shaped lampshade frame with scalloped bottom edges, I added dimension and texture to it with the chiffon pleated fabric in every other panel and Sugar shade technique in the remaining panels. The blue roses complemented my client's vintage white porcelain lamp with blue roses. The lamp shade is aesthetically pleasing during the day and even more so turned on in the evening. The bottom picture is one of my Illuminated Art Pieces, (Offerings from the Rose Garden). It was created in the same manor. It is currently sold but available in custom order..
