this is a great piece of walnut that i turned into a console table , it has 6 coats of hand rubbed poly on it is is nice and smooth , the legs are antique school house chair they are cast iron and pat date is around 1895

this was a great experience - we needed a table for our new apartment and had to fit a specific space - we checked out restoration hardware etc but could not find anything, we found gene through custom made and had a great design dialogue using the website. the responsiveness, and attention to the process was very good. he helped us customize it to fit our space and decor, once the table was finished he delivered and set it up at a time to suit us and we are very happy with the finished product - simply excellent.
