Mobile Bookcase
Here is a book cart that I made for my church from Walnut Burl veneer and Walnut. The entire cart was custom veneered by me. The outside panels have a bookmatched pattern that looks a little like a ghost. It is approximately 30 inches wide and 43 inches tall. The wheels are rated to hold 1000 lbs so it should hold quite a few books. The finish is a home recipe of polyuerethane and mineral spirits with wax as a final touch.

I build a variety of furniture in my small shop here in Norfolk Nebraska. I like working with my customer to come up with original designs and enjoy the challenge of taking something from concept to functional artwork. No project is too big or too small. Each holds its own challenges. I enjoy working with exotic woods and veneers. They add beauty that can only be found in handmade furniture. Wood is my passion and I encourage you to ask questions as it is only in the dialogue between customer and craftsman that true art can really emerge.
