I could not have asked for a better experience buying a custom made piece of furniture via the internet. Lee communicated with me throughout the whole process and made sure I was getting exactly what I hoped for. I spent a lot of time comparison shopping and found his prices to be competitive. The only “near” issue I had was when delivered the men almost left the bar cart at the curb. Thankfully my wife was home and got them to bring it to the house. Great experience, nice work!

Mr. Cowen is great! My initial order included 2 custom Alexanders. After the project was completed, I asked if it was possible to create removable inserts for the bottom. He was able to complete my request in time to ship them with my first order. Everything turned out amazing and I'm so happy that I came across Combine 9!

My custom ordered I-Beam Desk and Alexanders came out perfect! They make my home office unique and people are intrigued when they see them. I love that I was able to customize the dimensions. That way when I no longer need a home office, I can use the furniture for other uses such as a dining table and entertainment shelves. Mr. Cowen was very responsive while communicating and he answered all my questions prior to me accepting the project proposal. I believe the price was very fair considering everything was custom made to how I wanted each piece to be. I highly recommend Combine 9 to anyone who wants custom made furniture that will make a statement!

I had two items made by the maker. Both items turned out beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was very quick, from Texas to my location in Chicago it was shipped Friday afternoon and arrived in Chicago Sunday evening with a delivery date setup for Tues morning. The quality of the work on both piece was very well done, measurements I provided to the maker were spot on. The color and finish was exactly as requested. All and all very satisfied with the final product. Only thing that could be improved is a bit further communication with the maker. It would be helpful to know exactly what is happening in the time period that was given to me. At times I could be a bit impatient and like getting updates on exactly what is happening. But again, all and all very satisfied by the final pieces and the value of them. Thanks again! A+ maker

I had a custom filing cabinet made for my office, it turned out awesome! This designer/builder knows how to make quality pieces.

I bought a small dining table from Lee and am very happy with it. It is made of quality materials and is well built. I wanted a table that was a bit shorter than the one shown on the website and Lee was happy to build it to my specification. Of course, this took a few weeks to build, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Lee's work is very unique and I would not have found anything quite like it anywhere else. I will likely purchase other pieces from him in the future and would recommend his work to others.

From start to finish this project was great! Lee was very responsive and had some great ideas when it came to the design of our custom media cabinet. We had very specific dimensions and the piece came out perfect. Delivery was timely and all of our expectations were met. I would totally use Lee again for a custom piece.

Let me start by saying that if you are looking for an Amazon-type experience in which you spend a little money and get a "great bargain" which is shipped for free in two days, this is not your web site and this is not your guy. Lee CUSTOM builds furniture from scratch by hand. The process takes time. Lee's materials are top notch. I will attach some pictures to this. The framing material of the bar is substantial metal. The reclaimed wood is not "reclaimed wood" that one sees on the market. This ain't old pallet wood. This is some beautiful stuff. The details on the piece are fantastic. Everything is straight, square and solid. We added dome heavier wheels to give the bar an even more industrial look. Again, remember this is a CUSTOM PIECE. The process of working with :Lee on the design was fun and easy. We moved some stuff around. We wanted two pull down doors on the top. Also, we wanted the entire piece to be in wood. What we got was perfect. Fits the space well. Shipping was no hassle. Took about a week and came via Dayton Freight. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience.

We are beyond happy with the 2 pieces of furniture we had custom designed by combine 9. I felt in love with combine 9's design the minute I saw the work. Lee and his team followed our specification perfectly and the end product was made beautifully and exactly what I was looking for. We did encounter an issue with the shipper damaging one piece of the furniture twice! Both times, Lee addressed the issue immediately. He was patient and professional throughout the whole process! I highly recommend combine 9 knowing that they stand behind their products and has superb customer service.

Lee made an outstanding desk and easily made a small modification to his design based on a rough drawing of mine. The build quality is great and I can see it lasting for decades. I have no problem recommending him to others or buying something else in the future.
