Custom Headless Multi-Scale Guitar

$1,800

This is an original design I developed to be a compact, lightweight and very comfortable guitar. It sounds amazing, and is very good for travelling. It's also mostly hollow, so it is very easy on your back for long gigs. This guitar has a Korina wood body and neck, with an ebony fretboard. The neck pickup is an archtop style which doesn't require a route, strengthening the neck joint area. The bridge pickup is a p-90 voiced single coil that is great for bluesy grind. The scales on this guitar are 26" on the bass side and 24.75 on the treble side, providing huge bottom end on the thick strings and a very comfortable playing position at all parts of the fingerboard.

I have been building electric guitars for more than 10 years, and not a single one of them has been the same. My philosophy is to take the best materials and to connect with them before I even start building. I often start a guitar without knowing exactly how it is going to end up. This gives me the flexibility to realize when there is a chance to enhance the sound or play-ability of any given project, and to use that particular piece of wood the best way I can. I feel that many custom guitars these days lack soul, and are basically the result of an assembly line. You can rest assured that I've done everything I can to make each guitar as comfortable, stable, tone-full (is that a word?) and fun to play as possible. I want to create a guitar that you always want to just pick up and play. If you find yourself reaching for this guitar automatically whenever you have inspiration for a new song, lick, or lyric I have reached my goal. My guitars are inspired by the mountains and nature, and I love showing off the natural materials that I get to use. I use only thin oil or shellac finishes that are kind to the environment, feel great, and showcase the actual material that is being used.
