Recording Studio Console Desk

$3,000+
5.0(1 reviews)

This desk was Installed in July 2009 in a commercial recording studio in Washington, DC. Plain sliced Cherry Purebond was used for most of the structure with solid American Cherry accents. The wood was milled locally and was a perfect marriage to the beautiful Purebond sheets. The desk was an original MWW design based on the specific needs of the clients recording equipment setup. The angles of the desk fit in a space saving manner into the small DC loft that serves as the music laboratory. A great deal of design work was necessary to achieve maximum usage for the equipment and the result was a truly unique piece of furniture with which the client was very happy. The desk was finished naturally with Osmo Polyx Oil rubbed on.

My experience with Dan, of Mountain Woodworks was great. He created a cabinet to "hide" my large screen television and its components. Art was painted on the front of the cabinet, so that upon first look, the cabinet looks like a large scale art piece. I love it and everyone who has seen it has been very complimentary. In a nutshell, Dan created my vision, but made it better.
