This was a custom design salt box for the kitchen of a previous client. The customer wanted a salt and pepper box made for his wife that divided the 2 seasonings and that was beautiful as-well, easy to open. The box design was left up to me, which left me the freedom to play with different options. Box is made from cherry, curly maple and a single strip of walnut. The box has a smooth wavy shape added to give it a flowing feel when resting on the counter. Customer Testimony I can't thank you enough. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into it. And it's absolutely beautiful. Stunning woodwork, my friend. What I'm really looking forward to is the wood aging nicely over the years and it getting a nice worn look.     I'm okay with the final product. Creating the shape of Snoopy & Snoopy's doghouse out of the cutting board was the initial intent of this project, however, things didn't turn out as planned. The cuttings on the board are done well except for the fact that there are still outline marks and cuttings (used for the craftsman as guidelines) that are left on the board. This board was meant to be given on Valentine's Day however it arrived on Valentine's Day when this project started on 2/3/14. I suppose it was due to Winter Storm Pax that delayed the prompt arrival.

    I would work with Brandon again. He did restart with another cutting board after realizing the initial cutting board was far too small to use as a cutting board with Snoopy & Doghouse. As promised, the package did come with care instructions which is very handy.

    Brandon was always very professional and gave me a computerized sketch with dimensions of what I asked for. He kept me clued in on the progress every step of the way and I was amazed when I received my box-- great job!
