Window Bench Seat
Window seat was made from cabinet grade plywood and poplar trim. Box was a custom order for a client who wanted a seat and storage for their childrens toys. Once box was built they were to have a custom cushion fitted to the inside dimensions of the seat. Lid support are also mounted to help prevent little fingers from getting hit. Feb 14, 2014I'm okay with the final product. Creating the shape of Snoopy & Snoopy's doghouse out of the cutting board was the initial intent of this project, however, things didn't turn out as planned. The cuttings on the board are done well except for the fact that there are still outline marks and cuttings (used for the craftsman as guidelines) that are left on the board. This board was meant to be given on Valentine's Day however it arrived on Valentine's Day when this project started on 2/3/14. I suppose it was due to Winter Storm Pax that delayed the prompt arrival. I would work with Brandon again. He did restart with another cutting board after realizing the initial cutting board was far too small to use as a cutting board with Snoopy & Doghouse. As promised, the package did come with care instructions which is very handy.
