Floating Walnut Wood And Steel Shelf
Bookshelf stands 42" tall 68" long and 14 inches deep. Made with solid walnut shelves and raw waxed steel. The finish on the wood is oil poly mix. The shelf is very sturdy and weights about 130 lbs fully assembled. The piece comes flat packed and will take about 1 hour to assemble. I can do custom orders for different types of wood and different colors of steel. Everything is hand made in the USA. Each shelf is custom and please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery! All shelves can be custom made with different colors of powder coat or wood types. For custom work please request a quote for the shelf and also a custom shipping quote to your location.

The process of making each piece is as or more important to myself as the final piece. I try to keep my customers informed of the processes I am using while making their specific works of art or furniture. While I am working with a piece of furniture or piece of art the materials I use come from specific choices of color combinations, textures, contrast and overall appearance. Often while I work the ideas I have change while working with different materials because the material might respond differently then expected. This changes the project I am working and future projects. I have been trained as an architect so I love to design and building with my own hands. I am passionate about great design.

Nov 20, 2016We have the most beautiful walnut table and credenza at the lowest price imaginable. They are elegant, solid and we imagine having them for decades. UPS freight was a nightmare to work with, so maybe consider using someone else. But the quality of our furniture is outstanding and we receive compliments on it every time we entertain. We love telling people that they were handmade by an American craftsman.
