Modern Solid Walnut And Powder Coated Steel Coffee Table
The coffee table stands 12" tall 72" long , 28 inches wide. Made with Solid walnut and powder coated steel supports.The walnut measure about 1.75" thick so they can support a lot of weight! The finish on the wood is satin oil and poly. The steel legs are 2 1/2" wide and 1/2" thick. The coffee table is very sturdy and weights about 110lbs fully assembled. The piece comes flat packed and will take about 30 minutes to assemble. I can do custom orders for different types of wood and colors of steel along with the size of the table. Ask for a custom quote. Each coffee table is custom and please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery! Everything is hand made in the USA.

The process of making each piece is as or more important to myself as the final piece. I try to keep my customers informed of the processes I am using while making their specific works of art or furniture. While I am working with a piece of furniture or piece of art the materials I use come from specific choices of color combinations, textures, contrast and overall appearance. Often while I work the ideas I have change while working with different materials because the material might respond differently then expected. This changes the project I am working and future projects. I have been trained as an architect so I love to design and building with my own hands. I am passionate about great design.

Delivery was similarly easy - Matt brought the shelves down and assembled them. Delivery exactly in line with the completion date he estimated at the beginning of the project. The only area where I wouldn't give him top marks is in communication as it often took several days for him to respond to emails. However, I live in a Chicago, where everyone checks their e-mail every 30 seconds, so this is probably just a matter of perspective. Matt always got back to me within a few days or a week, and his work on this job was fantastic. I can highly recommend Matt and would most definitely work with him again.
