The dresser is a mix of aspen and red oak. My intention was to design a new and unique dresser style. The bottom drawers slide out, and then fold down to provide ample viewing space. This particular model is an oversized one. The dimensions can be catered to your needs.

NINEONENINE DESIGN is a company looking for new and exciting projects. Ones that are challenging, innovative, and stretch the limitations of what furniture can be. The goal is to give you, the customer, the ability to design and create furniture based on your ideas, needs, and wants. From the materials, to the colors, and obviously the design. The idea is simple, give customers something actually custom. Not just something unique they can find in a store, but a product that they design from the ground up and take part in every step of the way.
We love working with reclaimed materials and making the old new again.
A guide to the best items from the best makers and the stories behind them.

For craft storageI have delayed writing the review of my "craft storage" project because I was hoping the problems could be resolved and it would be a great piece. However, after waiting two months I have given up (and it seems Scot has too). Unfortunately, I would not work with Nineonenine Designs again and I would not recommend him. I provided a detailed drawing and size specifications that would support what I wished this project would accomplish and he fell short of following those. I asked to see photographs while it was being made and there was no communication or photographs along the way. If there had been, I believe it would have come together. Not only did the project fall short of the specifications, I cannot open or close the drawers without a tremendous struggle and there is no back on it, which makes it look incomplete and would allow items to fall out. If the project had been built for what it was intended, I was willing to overlook the imperfections, like the staples showing through the wood on the front and the cabinet doors not coming together, just to name a couple. Although we are 70 miles apart (I did originally pick it up), I provided many options for Scot to take the piece back and improve on it. Although he did offer to make me an additional smaller piece to help accomplish what I wanted to do, I do not want two pieces to do a job when one should do the trick. Now 2+ months later he has asked me to appreciate the project, which I am disappointed to say I cannot. As many people have told me, I should not have paid for and taken the piece to begin with.

For bookshelfScot was very understanding of what I wanted in the project. He did a great job on my dresser and nightstand. Scot was able to replicate the design in the pictures I had sent showing what I wanted the design to be. He even offered to rebuilt another dresser and nightstand I was getting built when it didn't come out exactly as my sister wanted. We are now having Scot built a mirror and two bookshelves since he is good and offers affordable prices for the projects.
