David is the consummate artist-craftsman. We have commissioned three windows from him and I'm certain we'll be back. If there is any "flaw" in our transaction, it's mine: illness here at home delayed my communication with him. But the piece was securely packed and safely shipped in short order. So, once again, thanks David.

David’s work is absolutely amazing. He was very easy to work with. He answered all my questions promptly and communicated with me along the way. He even completed my project sooner then expected. I absolutely love my Bat and the Moon !!

David made us a large version of his moon and bat window. The piece came out perfectly and is a lovely work of art. He finished within his initial time estimate and communicated throughout the process. Highly recommend!

I just received the finish product and I could not be more disappointed. The stain glass lacks detail and it is dark. The solder is amateurish. It is messy and totally unacceptable. It lacks consistency of width and depth. Working with David was difficult. I never felt I was working with a craftsman. I expected to open the package and say “wow”. The wow factor was definitely missing. Very disappointed!!

We have received and installed our beautiful Haeuser Heil moon and owl round window. The window is beautiful, expertly made, and so unusual in design. The window is a perfect addition to our living room where we have other stained glass windows made in New Orleans and Jackson, MS. David was fantastic to work with and gave attention to every detail we suggested. I would highly recommend this company and David Fode for your creative glass needs.

The artist responded to me promptly and very helpfully - the product I ordered was shipped next day and arrived very well packaged. The product is lovely and exactly as pictured. I would recommend this store to anyone who appreciates stained glass.

David is a brilliant craftsman, and it was a real pleasure to work with him in bringing about this piece for our daughters' room (a fantasy castle scene). He communicated very clearly each step of the creation process, sending updates and pictures along the way. We had certain ideas on the design, and David was able to implement them exactly as we had hoped! I would probably buy from again if I knew exactly what I was getting next time because I really like the work shown on the listings. I ordered the bat and moon stained glass piece. I wish I would've known my project would've been less detailed/colorful than the example listing. I suppose it is my own fault for not being more communicative with what I was expecting. The project was finished within the estimated amount of time. I wasn't updated every step of the way and I kind of wish I asked more questions before it was finished.

I found David's work on an on line image search and must say it is head and shoulders above all other work I've seen. I was skeptic about not being able to work face to face with the artist but David made these fears go away the very first time we communicated. From adjusting the size to each individual glass pieces, he made sure I loved the colors and details. With multiple pictures, I felt like I was with him every step of the way. The packaging of the finished piece was superb with a wooden plank to help support it during shipping. From start to finish, David's love of his craft and thoughtfulness of his client shines through. I ordered a custom 22" round owl and moon stained glass window for our home from David Frode and I couldn't be happier. The finished product is a beautiful, expertly crafted stained glass window with a whimsical owl and moon. Throughout the entire process, David was a model of professionalism: He was in regular contact to let me know how things were progressing and sent me a picture of the window to get my approval before glazing. The overall turnaround time was surprisingly fast and the window arrived in perfect condition. I always thought a custom stained glass window would be extremely expensive, but the price was very, very reasonable. I cannot recommend strongly enough.

My wife and I could not possibly be happier with the work that David did in creating the stained glass window for us. He was very professional, courteous, happy to make small tweaks along the way, kept us apprised of the process of the work (sending in-process images) and shipped it VERY well protected in a very timely fashion.
