Custom Wedding Cake Topper
This sculpture was ordered to look like the bride and groom and personalized to match their themed wedding. The client wanted to toppers to look similar to them, but did not want the bobble head effect. I was asked to create it as a 007 spy wedding cake topper with the bride and groom holding guns and a bag of money at their feet. The dress is similar to the bride-to-be's dress and the slit was added for the spy effect as well as the guns. The groom was dressed in a white tuxedo with removable sun glasses. I created everything with armature wire and polymer clay. I painted the final piece with acrylic paint and a clear coat finish. The clay choice is for the strength and durability of the piece for its use as a cake topper. They will be able to have this piece for years to come as a piece of artwork in their home.

Christina Miller was born and raised in Memphis, TN. After many attempts trying to figure out what she wanted to be, she ended up with a drafting degree and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Communication, and Business. She worked in various fields from hands on construction, real estate, insurance, and consulting. She began a journey in 2011 that resulted in her giving in to her artistic nature and allowing herself for flourish in her true calling as an artist, sculptor, writer, and all around creator of things to come. Her paintings and other artworks have been sold since 2008 and she continues to create and take commissions from her home studio in a suburb of Memphis, TN.
