This project was a clay sculpture created out of polymer clay and painted with acrylic paint to achieve a faux wood sculpture. The sculpting process begins with the creation of a metal armature which acts as the skeleton of the piece. I then bulk out the piece and add the details with clay. The final piece is then baked, sanded, and painted with artist quality paints. I used three different washes to created the faux wood texture. It was then coated with two layers of an acrylic varnish for protection. The client wanted a replica of a sculpture that was originally carved in wood. He wanted to add the sculpture to others in his shrine. He only had one picture of the original sculpture, but I was able to research different options to make the replica a success.

For A custome painting/drawingIt was a awesome experience, my painting by Sophia's Room was a great piece of art and will be the center piece of my office. She really focused on the spirit of my concept and made a piece of art that I will be proud to show off for decades, her dedication to detail is hands down the best I have seen.
I was so happy to have picked Sophia's Room to make this project.

For Steampunk Airship Custom Drawing/PaintingChristine was great to work with. She took my crazy ideas and made them real (or at least as real as a cat driving an airship can be). Great communication throughout the project. Highly recommended.
